Thor made his first appearance in the 1962 Marvel comic.
Thor was put on Earth by his father Odin as punishment.
Thor is one of the founding members of The Avengers.
“Thor: God of Thunder” was based on Marvel’s studio movie Thor and this was Thor’s first standalone appearance in a video game.
Odin feared that Thor was too caught up in his relationship with Jane Foster on Earth, so not only did Odin erase her memory, he tried to arrange a marriage to bring Thor back.
